Culimer USA Appoints Nicole Condon as Director of CSR & ESG to Advance Sustainable Seafood Initiatives

RIDGEFIELD, N.J., February 18, 2025 — Culimer USA LLC, a leading provider of sustainable seafood solutions, is pleased to announce that Nicole Condon will join the company as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in February 2025. Nicole has over 20 years of experience in marine science, non-profit program management, and seafood sustainability. She brings extensive knowledge and passion to Culimer USA’s mission of creating a more sustainable, socially responsible, and transparent global seafood industry.
Nicole’s career has been defined by her ability to bridge the gaps between science, policy, the environment, and industry. She joins Culimer USA from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), where she served as the US Program Director, leading the development of holistic market strategies that supported certified fisheries and expanded MSC-labeled products in the United States. Under her leadership, the US emerged as a global leader in wild-caught seafood sustainability.
Previously, Nicole was the MSC Eastern US Senior Commercial Manager, working closely with supply chain partners from fishery to final point of sale. She also contributed to international sustainable seafood strategies as part of the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF-US) Global Seafood Markets team. Her initiatives created lasting impacts on fisheries, supply chain stakeholders, and communities.
Nicole’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of New England, a Master’s in Oceanography from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Master’s in Sustainability Management from American University’s Kogod School of Business.
